At Relevé Studios, our dress code is about so much more than what dancers wear- it's about creating an environment that supports focus, growth, and joy in every class.
A consistent dress code helps promote:
Class Unity- When everyone is dressed similarly, it fosters a sense of belonging and teamwork.
Familiarity & Comfort- Especially for younger dancers, wearing the same attire each week builds routine and confidence.
Focus & Discipline- Proper dancewear helps minimize distractions so students can concentrate on learning.
Confidence and readiness- Dressing for class prepares students mentally and physically to give their best efforts.
Safety & Modesty- Appropriate attire ensures students can move safely and respectfully in all styles of dance.
Forgot Something? We've Got you Covered!
We understand-accidents happen! If your dancer forgets part of their dancewear, don't worry. We keep a limited selection (leotards) of clean, gently-used items available to borrow and return the following week so your child doesn't have to miss class.
However, tights are required for all classes. Many dance leotards are not designed to be worn without tights, and as your child's instructors, we want to ensure all students are covered modestly and appropriately for movement. If your dancer arrives without tights, you will be asked to purchase a pair for $10.00 before the can participate in class.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for every dancer.
